FAQ
Do I have to book in advance?
Yes, please. Booking in advance guarantees your place on the tour.
What should I bring with me on the tour?
Whatever will make you comfy and happy. Keep the weather in mind and remember, this is a walking tour. It's also a good idea to bring cash or cards in case you want to buy something. As of September 1st 2021, a valid proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for any walking tours in the province of Québec.
Do you offer private tours?
Yes we do. Private tours are a great idea for families, corporate groups, or whoever else wants to get that extra special experience. Contact us for more info.
Do tours get cancelled because of bad weather?
Bad weather, you say? Honey, this is Montréal, rain or shine, snow or sweat, the show goes on. Only if the weather is a safety concern will the tour be cancelled.
Are there bathrooms along the way?
Yes.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Reservations may be cancelled with no charge up to 48 hours prior to the departure time.
Should I tip the Guide?
Tipping is customary in Montréal for anyone in the service industry. It shows that you enjoyed your experience.
Who are the Guides?
Our Guides are passionate locals who love their city and want nothing more than to hear you say how much you love it too. They're all graduates from the ITHQ's guiding program and have the mandatory city permit.
